Fue por el año de 1976 cuando kike Chacón fue a playa grande acompañando a su padre Eloy Chacón en viaje de cacería organizado por el señor Miguel Ángel Barquero que ya conocía el lugar. Fue en ese viaje que Playa Grande capturó el corazón de kike Chacón, en un segundo viaje meses después se comenzaron a adquirir los terrenos que luego le darían forma a las cabinas y bar restaurante que hoy conocemos como kike's Place. El lote que fue utilizado como un lugar para vacacionar de amigos y familiares de kike se convirtió en 1980 en la primer soda de Playa Grande luego vinieron las primeras dos cabinas y en el año de 1984 se adquiere la primer patente de licores numero 154 para playa grande con el pasar de los años Yani la esposa de kike se mudó a Playa Grande y en conjunto a su esposo (kike) han logrado llevar un sueño que inició en los años 70 en todo una realidad y una parada infaltable si visitas playa grande.

It was in the year of 1976 when kike Chacon went to Playa Grande on the company of his Father Eloy Chacon on deer hunting trip with his friend Miguel Angel Barquero ho already knew the area. Was in that trip Playa Grande Captured kike Chacon heart, it was on a second trip a couple of months latter when they bought the land than latter was going to become into the rooms, bar & restaurant that we know today as kike's place. The grounds that was first used for the vacation grounds of kike friends and family in the year of 1980 en the first small place to eat in Playa Grande. After that we build our first 2 rooms. In the year of 1984 the first liquor license was bought for Playa Grande. With the clock ticking the time pas and Yani kikes wife move to Playa Grande and with her husband they have achieve a dream that started in 70's into a reality and a necessary stop if you are in Playa Grande.
